Martha Artyomenko Certified by DONA international. Martha, being the oldest of 11 children, and having a midwife for a mother, grew up in the atmosphere of birth. She has 4 boys of her own, and has attended approximately 60 births.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Joyce! She is compassionate, caring, informed, and supportive . She never rushed appointmen ts, and always gave me time to discuss any concerns or questions I had. She has a beautiful, gentle, calming presence.
She gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the whole process. I had switched from an OB to Joyce's care late in pregnancy and it was seriously one of the very best decisions I have ever made. She was calm and collected at all times.
She prayed with us, encouraged us, and gently guided us and helped us achieve a beautiful, calm homebirth experience . I will, without a doubt, be choosing her as our midwife for any other pregnancie s God may bless us with. Excellent care, and I highly recommend her to absolutely everyone!

Joyce Vogel is a wonderful, caring and careful midwife. The water birth we

Family Birth Services was started by Joyce Vogel, Certified Professional Midwife and has been offering unique birth experiences since 2005.
It is the only midwifery service that is locally owned and operated. Joyce has lived in Libby for 22 years and has been the care provider in over 300 births.
“As a midwife, my practice is dedicated to educating you about pregnancy and birth. Our initial consultations are without charge to establish a relationship and to allow you to ask all the questions you want. I believe the family should have every opportunity to make informed decisions regarding their birth. Since childbirth is an experience that is only gone through a limited number of times in a person’s life, I would like to help you have the experience that you desire.” |

 Family Birth Midwifery Services provides birth assistance in many areas in Montana: These include Lincoln, Flathead, Glacier, Cascade and Sanders County. Towns of Libby, Eureka, Troy, Kalispell, Noxon, Thompson Falls, Heron, Rexford, Shelby, Cut bank, Conrad and Great Falls. We also offer the birthing apartment to Idaho clients. (we are about 45 min from Bonners Ferry, Idaho)
